Students currently in grades 9–11 are eligible to apply to BIMA. Participants represent a mix of public schools, independent schools, performing arts schools, and Jewish day schools, and they come from all over North America and around the world. BIMA creates a rich pluralistic Jewish environment embracing a wide range of religious observances. BIMA offers strictly kosher dining (under Orthodox supervision). Participants and educators also focus their talents on creative, pluralistic Shabbat experiences.
