Joanne Arnish

I joined the NEJS department in October 2008 and am enjoying meeting all the friendly people and learning the many systems and procedures used at Brandeis. I have an enormous amount to learn; your patience is so appreciated! 

I grew up in Western New York State in a small farming community on Lake Ontario and lived in the Hartford, Conn. area for 20 years working in the insurance industry after college. My husband’s job brought us to the Boston area 15 years ago. We have one daughter who is currently a college freshman in Boston. For the past several years, I’ve been self employed at home doing medical transcription and doggie daycare. While I loved both of those roles, it has been wonderful getting back into the real world and meeting live people!
