GPS: Navigating Life with a Politics Degree: Internship Panel
5:00PM - 6:00PM in Shapiro Campus Center Multi-Purpose Room

Politics is a popular major at Brandeis, but many students wonder about how they can build a successful career with a politics degree.  The Politics Department is holding a series of events to help politics majors/minors and potential majors/minors understand how the training and knowledge they learn in POL courses can help them succeed in the world beyond campus.

The internship panel, the first in a series of events, will demonstrate how political internships can prepare students for successful careers after graduation.  The department has invited current students and one alumnus to discuss their internship experiences:
  • Nathaniel Barr, Class of 2014
    Foundation for Defense of Democracies
  • Daniel Katz, Class of 2012
Chief of Staff to Arianna Huffington, Huffington Post Media Group
  • Zoe Richman, Class of 2015
    Coalition on Human Needs
  • Alex Rubin, Class of 2016
    No Labels
  • Sarah Weber, Class of 2015
    Cambridge Consumers' Council
Ryan LaRochelle, the instructor of POL 89A: Political Science Internship will introduce some internship opportunities available for Brandeis students in the Spring. Delicious Thai food and beverages will be served!
