Conference: The Many Dimensions of Herbert Marcuse
Rapaporte Treasure Hall, Goldfarb Library

Join us for this two-day conference that will explore the critical theory of Herbert Marcuse. Keynote speakers include Martin JaySidney Hellman Ehrman Professor, University of California, Berkeley, and Douglas KellnerGeorge F. Kneller Philosophy of Education Chair, University of California, Los Angeles.

The conference coincides with the 50th anniversary of the publication of Marcuse's most famous book, "One-Dimensional Man: Studies in the Ideology of Advanced Industrial Society," and our recent discovery of an early draft of this book that was given to Brandeis by Marcuse himself.

Registration for the conference is free. Lunch will be provided both days. More information on this conference and the work of Herbert Marcuse is available here.

This event is cosponsored by the Department of Politics.
