Israela Brill-Cass, P’21, reports her daughter, Jordan ’21, will run for the Brandeis track team. Jordan graduated from Mansfield (Massachusetts) High School. Jeremy Deutsch joined the law firm Anderson Kill as a partner in its New York office, where he chairs the corporate and securities department. He writes, “This is a good fit culturally and a big step up to a national platform.” Rabbi Renee Goldberg Edelman and Shane Edelman live with their family in Short Hills, New Jersey. Renee enjoys serving as spiritual leader of Temple Sha’arey Shalom, in Springfield. Eldest daughter Bailey became a bat mitzvah in January, and the twins follow next year. Brian Fredrick Gray Katz is a research director at the Institut Jean Le Rond d’Alembert, Sorbonne Universities, University Pierre and Marie Curie, in Paris. His research centers on room acoustics, spatial audition, 3-D audio and virtual reality. Eric Mulkowsky provides strategic guidance and capacity-building support to education groups through the nonprofit Robin Hood, New York’s largest poverty-fighting organization. Two other Brandeis alumni work at Robin Hood: Sarah (Pacheco) Najarian ’96 advises grant recipients on strengthening their boards of directors, and Cedar Foley ’99 is a member of the development team, supporting donor engagement and fundraising efforts. Daniel Ramer celebrated the bar mitzvah of his youngest child, Oren, on June 3. Dan and his wife, Alia, have three teenagers. Jonathan Ringo was named president and chief operating officer at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. The South Africa native did his medical training at the hospital and practiced there as an OB-GYN. Jonathan joined Sinai Health System in 2014, becoming LifeBridge Health’s first chief medical information officer. He later served as vice president of clinical transformation, in charge of system-wide case management, population health, medical informatics and ambulatory quality. Hilary Shein Rothman and her husband, Eric, are thrilled about the upcoming marriage of their daughter Natalia to Moshe Lehman. Middle daughter Arielle, who was valedictorian of North Shore Hebrew Academy High School, entered Harvard this fall. Youngest daughter Daniella went to Israel last summer with Yad B’Yad, an inclusion program that allows travelers to befriend and assist individuals with disabilities while touring the country. Wendy Samuelson is managing partner of Samuelson Hause & Samuelson, a boutique matrimonial and family law firm in Garden City, New York. She presented a continuing legal education webinar for Lawline, “What Wilma Flintstone Needs to Know Before She Tells Fred She Wants a Divorce: Pre-Divorce Strategic Planning in New York.”
