Gregory Bass was promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief commercial officer at the specialty pharmaceutical company Lipocine. He joined the firm in 2016 as vice president of market access. In September, Daniel Miller entered the master of library and information sciences program at Simmons College. He is studying to become a law librarian. Gil Soltz established the nonprofit Yefe Nof Residency, which allows writers, researchers and designers to spend up to six weeks in a house in the mountains outside Los Angeles to complete creative work that addresses civilization’s most pressing challenges. He also founded Moontown Walking Travel, an independent company in Paris that offers a variety of themed walking tours. Consultant/trainer Alex Tsalolikhin helps IT organizations manage tens of thousands of Linux systems. He has been invited to teach at the USENIX LISA conference in San Francisco in October, fulfilling a career-long ambition.
