Off-Campus Housing

Off-campus housing in the Waltham community surrounding Brandeis is extensive and varied. The primary purpose of Residence Life for off-campus housing is to assist members of the Brandeis community in understanding the local housing market and to inform students, faculty, and staff about the housing opportunities available in the area, including those listed by over 50 area landlords, property managers, and management companies registered with our office.

"Off-campus housing" simply refers to any housing not owned and operated by the University. Off-campus housing includes shared housing, apartments, houses, and rooms for rent.

We do not operate as a real estate office or show you specific rental units. However, to help make the work of finding and securing housing easier, the residence life office has an Assistant Director available to answer off-campus housing questions, provide a general orientation to the Waltham area and lists of available housing, and provide you with resources for your search.
