Credit Card and electronic withdrawal from US checking or savings accounts (e-check)
Credit card and electronic payments can be made through your sage account by selecting the “Account Inquiry” link in the Finances section. Next, select the “activity” link. The “Total Balance for all Terms” is the amount due.
Any outstanding balance due can be paid by clicking on the appropriate payment button at the bottom of the screen. The buttons link to our TMS Payment Gateway where you can pay by credit card or direct withdrawal from a U.S. checking or statement savings account. Credit cards accepted are Discover, MasterCard, Visa and American Express (fees do apply for credit card payments). No fees apply to the direct withdrawal from checking/savings accounts (e-check). E-check payments returned unpaid by your bank are subject to the $25 returned check fee.
Brandeis University has contracted with Western Union Business Solutions, a specialist in global business payments to provide you with a simple and low cost method of paying fees to Brandeis in your own currency. This payment option may offer significant savings compared to a traditional wire from your bank directly to Brandeis. For instructions on paying by wire click Western Union.
Cash, Checks, Money Orders and Travelers Checks
Cash, checks, money orders and travelers checks are accepted in the Office of Student Financial Services in Usdan Student Center. Cash payments exceeding $9,999 must be reported to the IRS and will require you to submit proof of identity.
10-Month Payment Plan
For a small application fee ($70 for fall and spring, and $50 for one semester only), but no interest or other finance charges, families may contract to have 10 equal monthly installments deducted directly from a checking account.
Payments are withdrawn from August 2013 to May 2014. A family need not pay the entire balance due through the payment plan; the payment plan may be used in combination with other family resources or parent/student loans.
Applications for the 2013-14 payment plan will be mailed to families in early June.
Tuition Stabilization Plan
The Brandeis Tuition Stabilization Plan (BTSP) is a payment plan designed to help the parents of Brandeis students plan, manage and afford the costs of a Brandeis education.
By prepaying the entire undergraduate tuition, families eliminate future tuition increases and uncertainty about these increases.
For more information about this plan, please download and review our fact sheet and agreement (pdf).
