Text-Only Disability Accommodation Request Process
Step 1:
Question: Are you planning to live in Brandeis Housing for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027?
- If yes:
- Complete the Returning Student Housing Application through your MyHousing Portal by February 11th. Then continue to step 2.
- If no:
- No action is required. However, Brandeis recommends that all students who might need housing apply.
Step 2:
Question: Will you need disability accommodations in campus housing?
- If no:
- Continue through the housing selection process. Read all emails from Community Living thoroughly.
- Housing selection dates are as followed:
- Study Abroad Students: March 18–19
- Rising Sophomores: March 23–24
- Rising Juniors and Seniors: March 26–27
- If yes:
- Continue to step 3.
Step 3:
Question: Are you requesting the same accommodations as last year, or new/additional accommodations?
- If requesting the same accommodations:
- No additional forms are required. Your previously substantiated housing accommodations will be visible in your housing application.
- If requesting new or additional accommodations:
- Review the Disability Accommodations in Campus Housing webpage and complete all required forms.
- Submission Deadlines:
- Potential new or returning community advisors (CAs): Feb. 4
- All other applicants: Feb. 11
Final Reminder
Don’t forget to apply for housing by Feb. 11.
Eligible students will receive additional information during the week of February 16 to schedule meetings with Community Living.
Meetings will take place during the weeks of February 23 and March 2.
