Superintendents, principals, district leaders, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion professionals, curriculum directors, and humanities educators from across Michigan were invited to participate in this important learning opportunity. Teams of professionals from the same district or school system were strongly encouraged to attend together.

Building off of Michigan's Holocaust Education mandate and, created in alignment with the Michigan State Board of Education Anti-Semitism Resolution, this professional Day of Learning gave district staff the knowledge and tools they need to ensure an inclusive environment for all students and to address incidents of antisemitism in the 2025-26 school year. This symposium marked the beginning of an ongoing educational journey.

Presented by the Brandeis University President's Initiative on Antisemitism in cooperation with ADL Michigan, Boundless, and the Michigan Department of Education
