BNC Desert Chapter
Welcome to the BNC Desert Chapter!
The chapter is composed of men and women from the communities of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, and La Quinta.
BNC Desert provides philanthropic support to Brandeis University, a distinguished liberal arts and research university founded by the American Jewish community. Its membership is connected to the university through fundraising and through activities that reflect the values on which the university was founded: academic excellence, social justice, nonsectarianism and service to the community.
Our calendar is filled with exciting events designed to inspire and connect our members. Each event is an opportunity to engage, learn and have fun. So don’t wait — your involvement is important to us!
If you have questions about membership, call Gail Minkow, 310-933-7454 or email gail.minkow2@gmail.com.

Brandeis History
The vision for Brandeis was realized in the aftermath of World War II when members of the American Jewish community came together to create a place of academic excellence for all who valued learning. At a time when institutions were barring top students due to quotas, Brandeis accepted students based on intellect above all other factors. Since 1948, Brandeis University has exceeded expectations and developed into a world renowned research university.
