🍳 What’s Cooking? Help Us Season the Summer "Test Kitchen"!
Do you have a fascinating niche interest, a hidden talent, or a "deep dive" topic that’s been simmering on the back burner? The BOLLI Test Kitchen is officially open for the late Spring summer, and we’re looking for member-led sessions to spice up our programming!
The Test Kitchen is our dedicated space for one-off lectures, interactive workshops, or experimental programs. Unlike a full-course multi-week class, these single sessions allow you to share a "tasting menu" of your favorite subjects without a long-term commitment.
Test Kitchen ideas can be for in-person and Zoom events.
Choose Your Flavor (and Format)
The "Kitchen" is incredibly flexible! We encourage you to prep your ideas in whatever way best serves the material. You might consider:

Interactive Discussions: Lead a "round table" stirring the pot on a provocative article or philosophical question.
- Social activities: plan a casual get-together based in a shared interest or topic.
- Games and Cards: Lead a how-to-play session.

Suitcase Stories: Take us on a narrated journey through your recent travels through slideshows, travel tips, and location-specific reccomendation.

Live Demonstrations: Show us the secret sauce—whether it’s craft, a tech hack, or collections.

Traditional Lectures: Deliver a deep dive into a specific person, place, or event in history.
- Collections/antiques: show your unique collections or invite others to share theirs.
Off-site activities also welcome!
Got a "Half-Baked" Idea? Let’s Talk!
You don’t need to be a professional educator or have a 10-page recipe ready to go—you just need enthusiasm and a desire to engage with your fellow BOLLI members.
