This course will take place virtually on Zoom. Participation in this course requires a device (ideally a computer or tablet, rather than a cell phone) with a camera and microphone in good working order and basic familiarity with using Zoom and accessing email.

Curious about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and what Large Language Models have to do with your life now and in the future?

Dive into this supportive and encouraging course where learning meets creativity. We will kick things off with presentations that demystify the basics of AI followed by the use of practical online tools for prompting, image generation, music and video to discover how AI can be a tool for self-expression. Course participants can try their hands at completing browser-based assignments in areas of interest in their own lives with an opportunity to share their accomplishments in class. 

If you can perform a Google search and join Zoom, you have the ability and background to join this course. Students should have access to a computer or iPad and know how to use the device to navigate websites. No further skills are necessary.

Biography

Agi Sardi is a Hungarian immigrant. As a Computer Engineer, she led Advanced Technology initiatives for Raytheon Corporation such as Space Station Development, Theater Battle Management, and Environmental Monitoring systems. She subsequently transitioned into academia, teaching at institutions - MIT, Northeastern, Emerson, NEIA and others. 

She has developed a deep passion for Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian dance, dedicating 30 years to active participation as a dance choreographer and performer. She has contributed to several fine arts shows as well. Her current fascination lies in the intersection of Art, Technology, and Science, a passion which she is eager to share with course participants.
