Bio: Steve Weisman, attorney and professor at Bentley University, is an expert in cybersecurity, scams, and identity theft. He was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the American Bar Association for excellence in legal journalism for his newspaper column “You and the Law.” He teaches about white-collar crime and is a columnist for USA Today. He has appeared as an expert on all the major television and cable networks and is frequently quoted in the major print media. He has even shared his expertise on scams on the Dr. Phil Show. He is the author of nine books, including “50 Ways to Protect Your Identity and Your Credit,” “50 Ways to Protect Your Identity in a Digital Age,” and “Identity Theft Alert.” His book “The Truth About Avoiding Scams” was chosen as one of the Top Ten Business Books of the year by Smart Money Magazine.
