The Rose Art museum is currently working with a grant that has been sectioned off in three parts, accessibility, security and building envelope. The accessibility portion will allow patrons the ability to have either automatic motion sensor sliding doors or automatic openers throughout the museum allowing all to be able to enjoy the museum’s offerings. The second portion of the project assessment and implantation to ensure that the art work at the museum is secured. The building envelope will assess what areas of the building that will need improvements.

As part of our annual work to maintain and improve our campus steam infrastructure (primary heating source for almost every building on campus), we will have several projects taking place. Planned locations include the Heller-Schneider Building, Goldfarb Library, Pearlman, and Sherman/Hassenfeld. The work will require cutwork and installation of large sections of pipe. Some pedestrian walkways may be impacted. Fencing, signage, and alternative walkways will be provided as needed to maintain pedestrian safety.
