In this discussion, Robert Einhorn will provide his assessment of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and its possibilities for the future, including whether a different administration in Washington might reenter the agreement. Einhorn is a senior fellow in the Arms Control and Non-Proliferation Initiative and the Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence at the Brookings Institution. He spent 35 years at the State Department working on arms control and nonproliferation issues. As Special Advisor to Secretary Hillary Clinton from 2009 to 2013, Einhorn participated in negotiations that eventually lead to the Iran nuclear deal.
