Advising

For the Fall 2025 semester, students can see Professor Sophia Malamud or Professor Lotus Goldberg for undergraduate linguistics advising, including declaring the Linguistics major or minor, study abroad advising, or other advising relating to the Linguistics major, the Linguistics minor, or studying linguistics.  (Please note that Professor Keith Plaster is on sabbatical for Fall 2025 and not advising undergraduate linguistics students this semester.)

Students should see Prof. Malamud for advising as the default option this semester if they are able to attend her office hours.

The requirements for the Linguistics major and minor can be accessed through the relevant links in the navigation, or review the advising worksheets for the major and minor.
