QB Graduate Student Bi-Weekly Seminars

2 female students working in a lab

Once every two weeks, QB students get together (with no faculty allowed to be present) and present talks (typically 30-60 minutes) on their current research in a supportive, informal environment. These talks provide a forum that enables the students to have frank discussions of not only their research achievements but also the difficulties they are encountering in their projects, and get helpful feedback from peers in both the life and physical sciences. These sessions are entirely programmed and run by the QB students.
