Join us for a virtual tour of the Rose Art Museum exhibition "My Mechanical Sketchbook" — Barkley L. Hendricks and Photography. Co-curators Dr. Gannit Ankori (Henry and Lois Foster Director and Chief Curator of the Rose) and Dr. Elyan J. Hill (Guest Curator of African and African Diaspora Art) will lead viewers through the show, which focuses on the significant and multifaceted role of the camera and the photographic image within Barkley L. Hendricks's artistic practice. Together, they will illuminate the connections between Hendricks's myriad forms of creative expression, from photographs and Polaroids to paintings and works on paper.
