Academic Policies

Open Enrollment

Admission to Brandeis Summer School rests on the assumption that each student knows best what he or she wants and can do. Enrollment is open to a wide cross-section of qualified persons, including students currently enrolled in colleges and universities as well as individuals not currently engaged in any formal educational program, but who hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Academic Status Withdrawal

A student whose academic standing is changed, based on Spring Term courses, or who does not successfully complete a Session 1 prerequisite for a Session 2 course, is considered academically ineligible.  Anyone who becomes academically ineligible will be administratively withdrawn and will receive a 100% adjustment of tuition and fees.

Summer 2021

We're busy planning Summer 2021! Take a look at our 2020 summer classes to get an idea of the classes we typically offer (courses change each summer). Let us know if there are classes you'd like to see offered!

Summer 2020 was online

Due to COVID-19, all Brandeis Summer School classes were online for Summer 2020. There were two models of instruction 5-week synchronous "remote learning" and 10-week asynchronous online courses. We are not certain if we will be having classes on-campus this summer, but will update students as soon as we know.
