The Brandeis Pluralism Alliance has established a grants program for student- or faculty-initiated projects that address issues of identity, pluralism and unity.

The general goals of the Brandeis Pluralism Alliance are to create opportunities for a large cross-section of students to question identity and community at a deeper level, and to reach a more thoughtful and enduring understanding of these issues; to create alliances among different campus groups addressing issues of pluralism and unity; to foster networking, communication and coalition building; and to provide funds for creative new pluralism and unity programming involving students and faculty.

The Center for Teaching and Learning at Brandeis is built on the conviction that Brandeis faculty and staff have a great deal of knowledge and expertise to offer each other in the service of helping our students learn — and the Center aims to be a place (both physical and intellectual) that supports the exchange of such ideas. 

The Department of Community Living cultivates an inclusive, diverse and symbiotic living and learning environment in all Brandeis residence halls. Department staff empower our community members to respectfully challenge each other and engage in opportunities of holistic enrichment through critical thinking, constructive dialogue and leadership development.

Brandeis IBS is diverse to its core. With more than 400 students from over 40 countries, there are many different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives present on campus every day. 

The Dialogues: Navigating Identity in the Workplace, grew out of conversations among Brandeis students, faculty, and staff about how to facilitate learning and connection around questions of diversity in the workplace. The project's goal is to promote dialogue and learning as well as relationships among all of these groups, in addition to alumni and professional partners.

English Language Programs (ELP), formerly the English as a Second Language Program, is designed to serve non-native speakers of English. 

The Heller School is a vibrant academic learning community of scholars, students and staff dedicated to creating a welcoming environment that builds and supports respectful dialogue across group and individual differences in every aspect of our work and social interactions. 

The International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) supports Brandeis international students and scholars from more than 101 countries around the globe. The ISSO is dedicated to supporting international students and scholars throughout their time spent in the Brandeis community.

The Prevention, Advocacy & Resource Center (PARC) provides a warm and welcoming space that is open to survivors, as well as supporters and friends of survivors.

Approximately 10 percent of the Brandeis undergraduate population disclose a documented disability. This is on a par with numbers reported at college campuses across the country. The Brandeis community includes students with mobility, visual, hearing, medical, psychological and learning disabilities. We appreciate that all people have strengths and vulnerabilities — and we want to support our students' achievement and growth.
