Global Brandeis Fund

The Office of Global Affairs and the Office of the Provost are excited to announce a limited amount of seed funding to encourage the development of initiatives that support and enhance the development of Brandeis as a global institution.

The new Global Brandeis Fund is designed to support innovative efforts that stimulate a future-oriented, collaborative approach to the global dimension of the university. These efforts will focus on building sustainable relationships -- those with partners abroad and those across schools and units on campus. Each project team works with the Office of Global Affairs to develop long-term, strategic goals for these relationships.

The first Request for Proposals (RFPs) was sent to the campus community in January 2008, covering calendar year 2008 projects. In total, 10 projects were selected for funding during this first year (see right side bar for individual projects). Information on the 2009 fund cycle will be available soon.
