User Interface Design
This course introduces user interface design principles and concepts of user centered design. User Interface concepts for web, desktop and mobile applications are practiced in a variety of design projects. Universal design concepts, accessibility design, navigational schemas and elements of screen design are also discussed.
After taking this course, the student will be able to:
Create User Interface Design for web, desktop and mobile applications.
Apply the principles of user centered design to user interface creation.
Determine navigation and menu schemas based on the application needs.
Apply the principles of universal design and accessibility to the user interface design.
Determine selections for graphics, colors, screen controls and interaction devices.
