Dr. Qureshi received her medical degree from the University of Toronto where she also did her residency in general surgery followed by a fellowship at the Swedish Cancer Center in Seattle, Washington. She has her Board certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and is a member of the American College of Surgeons. She is a member of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an is instructor at Harvard Medical School. Qureshi has recently joined the nationally-recognized surgical team at BIDMC from The Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario, Canada where she was a general surgeon focused on minimally invasive surgery. She joined the extensive surgical practice based at BIDMC-Needham, where she will remain focused on minimally invasive procedures in the abdominal cavity, including laparoscopic and open surgery, anti-reflux procedures, gastric surgery, laparoscopic hernia surgery, laparoscopic colon surgery, laparoscopic nissens surgery, and foregut surgery.
