During the Summit, all delegates will reside in state-of-the art residence halls on the Brandeis University campus. Each of our residence halls have single-gender as well as gender inclusive housing options. All residence halls have central air-conditioning and wireless internet, and are monitored by Summit staff.

Delegates do not need to bring their own linens, as they are supplied by Brandeis. Linens provided include: towels, sheets, and blankets; pillows are also provided. Delegates should, however, pack their own toiletries. In the event that a delegate forgets a crucial item, Summit staff will do their best to accommodate the student. Items most commonly forgotten include soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine products. Additionally, please note that, while each room contains a wardrobe, that wardrobe does NOT contain clothes hangers.

If delegates wish to wash their clothes during the Summit, staff will provide detergent. There are coin-operated laundry facilities in each residence hall and it costs $1.50 (in quarters) per wash and dry.

If parents of delegates need to mail something to their student during the Summit, they should address the letter or package to the Summit address:

Delegate's name
Global Youth Summit
415 South St.
Mail Stop 065
Waltham, MA 02454-9110.

The Summit will accommodate all religious observances during the week. Shabbat services are available and Kosher food can be requested. Shabbat keys will also be provided to access residence halls. Please contact the Summit to discuss any necessary travel adjustments necessary to accommodate the observance of Shabbat.

Local transportation throughout the week is via private coach buses. Anytime delegates travel into Boston, they are closely chaperoned by Summit staff to ensure safety and comfort.
