Greening Class
Greening the Ivory Tower: Improving Sustainability of Brandeis and Community (AMST 191b) is a Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) course taught by Laura Goldin, in which students explore strategies for creating healthy, vigorous, environmentally sustainable communities in the face of increasingly challenging environmental problems.
In this hands-on course, students collaborate with university partners and community organizations and agencies to design and implement sustainability projects creating measurable benefits to the campus and local community environment. Students work closely with the Campus Sustainability Initiative to achieve sustainability success stories.
