Quantitative Biology Boot Camp
For two days during Brandeis’ spring semester, all QB students and faculty (together with other interested members of the community) come together on campus for all-day sessions of mini-courses, research talks, informal interactions and panel discussions on the practical aspects of being an interdisciplinary scientist.
The research talks are given by faculty, both from Brandeis and from outside the university. An advanced graduate student or postdoc, the recipient of the HHMI Interfaces Scholar Award, delivers three lectures on a particular topic that involves application of quantitative physical sciences methods to biomedical problems.
The QB Boot Camp is open to all Brandeis science faculty and graduate students. Even students not officially enrolled in QB are invited, provided that space is available. To get additional information, please contact Elizabeth Atwood, QB Program Coordinator.
