Quantitative Biology Bootcamp

For two days during Brandeis’ January intercession, all QB students and faculty (together with other interested members of the community) come together on campus for all-day sessions of mini-courses, research talks, informal interactions and panel discussions on the practical aspects of being an interdisciplinary scientist.

The research talks are given by faculty, both QB and other. An advanced graduate student or postdoc, the recipient of the HHMI Interfaces Scholar Award (which includes a cash prize) delivers three lectures on a particular topic that involves application of quantitative physical sciences methods to biomedical problems.
