WELCOME TO BOSTON!
Why attend the global youth summit?
We are in the midst of the most significant and fundamental change in health care delivery in our lifetime. Young people who may eventually consider a career in medicine need to understand the changing nature of health care delivery and its impact on attending medical school, choosing a career and developing the skills they will need to be future leaders in the field.
The Global Youth Summit on the Future of Medicine’s intensive seven-day program is tailored to outstanding high school students who are already interested in pursuing careers in health care.
Delegates can expect to gain a unique, behind-the-scenes insight into the dynamic world of health care through experiential learning, guest lectures and networking opportunities with the leaders and innovators in the global medical community in order to build upon their already significant abilities and chart their path to becoming a leader in medicine.
An added benefit of successful completion of the Summit is a $3000 scholarship will be awarded to the delegate should he/she eventually be admitted and enrolled as a freshman undergraduate student at Brandeis. The scholarship will be applied to tuition during the delegate’s first year at Brandeis. Participation in the Summit does not guarantee admission to Brandeis as a degree-seeking student.
