Academic Regalia
Academic regalia is required for graduates to participate in the Commencement ceremonies on May 17, 2026. Regalia is available for purchase in person at the Brandeis Bookstore starting Monday, April 20. This is the preferred method of obtaining your regalia. Regalia distribution will occur during normal business hours.
There is a ship to home only option (ship to store is not available) for an additional shipping fee. This option is available starting April 20th through May 1 on the Brandeis Bookstore website. After May 7, all regalia will need to be picked up in person at the Brandeis Bookstore following the in person process.
Regalia includes the gown and appropriate hood for the earned degree. Master’s recipients regalia is worn with a mortar board style cap, the PhD regalia is worn with a tam style hat.
Master’s regalia will be available for $70. PhD regalia will be available for $110, inclusive of the tam.
