Academic Regalia
Academic regalia is required for graduates to participate in the Commencement ceremonies on May 17, 2026. Regalia is required to be purchased and picked up in person at the Brandeis Bookstore starting Monday, April 20. If you are unable to pick up your regalia in person due to extenuating circumstances, you will need to request an exception via the Undergraduate Regalia Pickup Exception Request Form.
Regalia distribution will occur during normal business hours. Regalia includes cap and tassel, gown, and appropriate hood for the earned degree.
Undergraduate regalia will be available for $50.
Honor society cords, identity stoles, and other adornments are permitted at Commencement. Cords and stoles are not distributed or managed centrally at the university.
