Guidance for Faculty, Staff, or Affiliates

For the purposes of workplace health, staff, faculty and affiliates are under the purview of Occupational Health at Brandeis University. The occupational health provider works closely with the Brandeis Community Tracing Program (BCTP) team to provide guidance on all matters related to COVID exposure, testing, isolation requirements and return to work after infection.
All faculty, staff, and affiliates are required to follow the instructions of Occupational Health and the BCTP regarding clearance to access campus. Those who fail to do so will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Please follow the guidance provided in these pages. Brandeis University has developed its protocols based upon guidance from the CDC, the MA Department of Public Health, and data gathered from our own campus community.
Quick Resources
- If you test positive to COVID-19, STAY HOME; do not come to campus. A positive is a positive, whether on a rapid test or a PCR.
- All positive COVID-19 tests among Brandeis faculty, staff or affiliates must be reported to the BCTP by emailing bctp@brandeis.edu. This is important for exemptions to testing and other requirements.
- If you feel unwell and are unsure if you should come to work, please contact Occupational Health to discuss your concerns at occhealth@brandeis.edu or 781-736-8769.
