My grant is called "The Book and the World: Professionalization in the English Graduate Seminar." It supports
rethinking my syllabus for my fall 2019 graduate seminar, Realism (ENG 230a), to incorporate professional training into the structure of the course in order to begin a larger project to rethink the role of professional training in graduate education more broadly.
