Brandeis environmental studies faculty member Brian Donahue is a leader in the Sustainable Working Landscapes Program, which promotes community-based research supporting a bold vision of conservation and stewardship of forest and farm lands in New England.

This work builds connections with the local community by designing and implementing projects that not only meet the needs of local municipalities but work in collaboration with stakeholders. Together, we aim to provide information about the efficacy of conservation management choices at the local and regional scale.
