Brandeis International Business School offers five graduate dual degree programs.

As you might expect, there are several fundamental differences between the MA/MBA, MSF/MBA, MSBA/MBA, MSBA/MA and MSBA/MSF programs. This blog post will discuss what makes each unique.

There is one important common trait among dual degree programs at the International Business School. Dual degree students, no matter which specific program they choose, will save both time and money while completing two master’s degrees.

And as a result, they will acquire a unique package of knowledge, skills and experiences that is sure to help them accelerate their career dreams.

MA/MBA

The MA/MBA dual degree covers the fields of international economics and finance and equips students with core business management and leadership skills in areas such as marketing, strategy and innovation and more.

This program combines the analytical skills students need to understand the global economy with challenging, broadly applicable business coursework designed to develop leadership acumen through a global lens.

The MA/MBA requires 96 credits over six semesters, instead of the 128 credits required to earn each degree independently.

MSF/MBA

The MSF/MBA dual degree provides students with an advanced knowledge of finance, analysis, general management and strategy to pursue leadership positions in industries such as technology startups, consulting and finance.

Students earn a Finance concentration in the MBA Program. The ability to complete a second concentration will depend on course selection.

The MSF/MBA requires 79 credits over four to five semesters, instead of the 109 credits required to earn each degree independently.

MSBA/MBA

The MSBA/MBA dual degree prepares students to apply modern data science tools and leverage data to solve challenging business problems.

The program provides students with an advanced knowledge of data management, business analytics, strategy and general management to pursue leadership positions in career fields including consulting, data science, business and financial analysis, risk management, compliance and marketing.

The MSBA/MBA requires 77 credits over four to five semesters, instead of the 105 credits required to earn each degree independently.

MSBA/MA

The MSBA/MA dual degree equips students with knowledge of advanced economics and finance, while incorporating business analytics skills that enable students to navigate complex business scenarios.

Students will graduate with a unique knowledge base and skill set that is ideal for in-demand positions in finance, consulting, data science and business analytics.

The MSBA/MA requires 77 credits over four to five semesters, instead of the 105 credits required to earn each degree independently.

MSBA/MSF

The MSBA/MSF dual degree allows students to deepen their finance knowledge and develop skills in applications of data analytics in finance.

The International Business School’s newest graduate dual degree, the program also builds students’ understanding of both financial services and corporate strategy.

The MSBA/MSF requires 67 credits over four to five semesters, instead of the 86 credits required to earn each degree independently.
