Student Testimonials
"Attending the online beginner Hebrew summer course at Brandeis University has really pushed me to take initiative in a way I had not previously experienced as a high school student. I am grateful that even though the course is asynchronous, there are still many opportunities to speak with the professor and with my classmates."
Rebecca | Lexington, MA
"I get to practice reading, writing, speaking, and hearing Hebrew. I enjoy the speaking portion especially when we get to partner up with another student in the class... Absolutely stunning. The instructor is always available and shares his office hours. I would absolutely recommend taking this course!"

"I have learned more from this Hebrew summer course than I have learned from any other university language course. The instructor's understanding teaching style coupled with the online modality of the course made it very easy to progress at my own speed and take the time I needed to take in the language. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in the Hebrew language and culture."
Ariel | Los Angles, CA
"Taking Hebrew 20A this summer has been an incredibly enriching experience for me, and I owe a lot of my success to the instructor's thoughtful and accommodating approach. As an international student, balancing a full-time job in finance and being a new father to my daughter, I knew managing my time would be a challenge. The course's asynchronous format was a lifesaver, allowing me to work through the material at my own pace, even during late nights or early mornings.
What really stood out to me was how well-constructed the course was. The way it was broken down into manageable daily assignments and quizzes made it easier to stay on track and steadily build my understanding of the language. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the workload, I felt a sense of accomplishment each day as I completed the small tasks set out for us. This structure really helped me absorb the material in a way that worked with my busy schedule.
This course has not only improved my Hebrew but also shown me that with the right support, it’s possible to achieve good grades."
