Merkaz Ivrit: Where the Hebrew language meets Israeli culture
- Create & Explore – Discover Israel’s culture through art, drama, and collaborative projects.
- Live Hebrew Daily – From sports, to cooking, to outdoor challenges, Hebrew becomes part of your everyday fun.
- No Experience Needed – Whether you're a beginner or fluent, you’ll grow at your own pace.
At Merkaz Ivrit, Hebrew isn’t something you study—it’s something you live. Through hands-on activities, music, food, and conversations with Hebrew-speaking peers and counselors, you’ll naturally connect with the language and Israeli culture in an exciting, meaningful way.
Merkaz Ivrit is part of a larger camp experience. As Young Judaea’s national teen summer camp, Camp Tel Yehudah has served tens of thousands of Jewish teens for over 75 years. As we move into the future, Tel Yehudah is evolving into the Center for Jewish Teen Life, a hub for Jewish teen programs from multiple youth-serving organizations, strengthening the landscape of Jewish teen programming, and expanding the high-quality, immersive and exciting opportunities available to Jewish teens.
