Fostering Growth and Awareness of Other Cultures
The Brandeis Intercultural Center serves as the umbrella office for 17 diverse student clubs and organizations.
The center is dedicated to creating a haven of respect, education and celebration that aims to develop critical consciousness and awareness of the myriad cultures of Brandeis University. It also works to foster a welcoming community where diverse experiences and perspectives are valued and dedication to the understanding of cultures and ethnicities is essential.
The center, located on the lower level of Swig Hall in East Quad, features a spacious resource room equipped with computers and printers, a small lending library of cultural books and videos, and a diverse array of cultural publications. It also has a conference room, multipurpose room, comfortable lounges, a patio and kitchen facilities, all of which can be reserved online.

Come join us and celebrate Culture X 2022 - United by the Tides
Through a variety of diverse performances and cultures, we hope to convey the idea of unity amongst different communities as we've weathered the waves of a global pandemic. We also want to reflect the movement of peoples and families across lands and oceans that is an essential aspect of the immigrant story. This is a special Culture X, as we are also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the ICC.
