Fostering Growth and Awareness of Other Cultures

The Brandeis Intercultural Center (ICC) serves as the umbrella office for 16 diverse student clubs and organizations.

The ICC is dedicated to creating a haven of respect, education and celebration that aims to develop critical consciousness and awareness of the myriad cultures of Brandeis University. It also works to foster a welcoming community where diverse experiences and perspectives are valued and dedication to the understanding of cultures and ethnicities is essential.

2023 ICC Stole Ceremony

6-8 p.m. May 5 | ICC Swig Lounge

In the spirit of starting a new tradition, the Brandeis Intercultural Center will be partnering with the Brandeis Alumni Association to host an ICC Stole Ceremony from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 5, in the ICC Swig Lounge. 

If you are interested in being our Graduating Student Speaker (3- to 5-minute speech) for this event, please complete the last portion of the RSVP form

  • Graduates and guests will be expected to dress in semi-formal attire.
  • Food will be provided.

Light Up The Sky 

6 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 | Levin Ballroom

Culture X 2023 will present "Light Up the Sky." This year's theme hopes to convey the idea of how with time we tend to see changes not only in ourselves but also in the world around us. Under one sky we work together to reign in the light of a new day.

Registration will open on April 1, 2023 in Campus Groups.

The Femme of Color Alliance (FOCA) proudly presents Legacies of FOCA Gala. Formerly known as the Women of the World Gala, Legacies of FOCA serves to recognize the impactful, driven, amazing femmes in our community. There will be guest keynote speakers, food, performances, and awards for notable change makers in the community.
