Library

Welcome Midyear Students!

Welcome to Brandeis from your Library! The Library is here to support you throughout your studies at Brandeis:

  • Learn more about the Library’s services, ranging from our rare books to robotics!
  • Interested in learning more about Brandeis history? Stop by University Archives and Special Collections on Level 2 of Goldfarb Library to view our "Twentieth Century Brandeis," in celebration of the university's 75th anniversary. The exhibit highlights Brandeis Presidents, Student Life, Faculty Life, the 50th anniversary, and Brandeis Gear. University Archives & Special Collections is open Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm, closed on major holidays.
  • Each first-year student and transfer student at Brandeis is matched with a Personal Librarian who is available to answer questions, help with papers and research, let you know what’s going on in the library, and connect you with resources. Midyear students will receive a welcome message from their Personal Librarian in early January–feel free to reach out anytime though! You might also meet subject librarians in different classes you take and a librarian in your University Writing Seminar--we encourage you to reach out to any of us with your questions at any point during your undergraduate studies.

We look forward to supporting your work at Brandeis!
