Maker-In-Residence Program

The Maker in Residence Program is a micro grant for unique and high merit projects with emerging technology. This program harnesses the enthusiasm of Brandeis Community members who like to learn at their own pace.

If you want to learn how to Make something or create a novel device, we will fund your project up to $500 in material and get you in touch with experts! Participants learn how to use new technology such as 3D printing or embedded systems, along with how to project manage and build financial plans.

The Maker-In-Residence microgrant is for projects that are primarily using Makerlab resources, but can integrate Automation or DS Lab technology to some degree.
