Alan Kierman and his wife, Allison, are proud to announce the birth of a baby girl, Felicity Lael. She was born on March 15 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Felicity joins big brother Bond. Jennifer (Gutmaker) Morgan is president-elect of the Junior League of Philadelphia for 2012-13 and will begin her term as president in May 2013. She was part of the delegation that represented Philadelphia at the Association of Junior Leagues national conference in April in San Francisco. The Junior League of Philadelphia is a nonprofit women’s community service and leadership training organization, which celebrated its centennial in 2012. Jennifer joined the group in 2001. Denise Markonish, the curator of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams, assembled “Oh, Canada,” the largest exhibition of contemporary Canadian art ever put together outside of the True North. “I had lots of people say, ‘Why would an American curator come here?’ I say, ‘Why not?’” Denise told a Canadian newspaper reporter. “I really do think this show is going to open people’s eyes to the amazing work in Canada.” Andrew Share, of Exeter, N.H., was named to the board of directors of Leadership Seacoast, a nonprofit organization that helps to develop leaders in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire. Andrew, a 2010 graduate of Leadership Seacoast, is a partner at Nixon Peabody. He earlier served as in-house counsel at Tyco International. Rachel Reiner, managing director of Resonance Ensemble, received the Lucille Lortel Award and an accompanying grant from the League of Professional Theatre Women. The annual award honors a woman working in any theater discipline who shows creative promise. Resonance Ensemble, a 10-year-old company, produces classic plays and new work inspired by the timelessness and universalism of the classics. Rachel’s company, Rachel Reiner Productions, has produced numerous plays off-Broadway. Rachel is also the senior manager of membership services and education programs at the Broadway League, where she has worked since 1996. Tina Mello is engaged to Jason Adler. They have been together for more than five years. Tina writes, “No details yet, but we intend to have a small ceremony in spring 2013.” Lindsey Markus, IBS MA’98, was named to “Double Chai in the Chi,” Chicago’s first-ever list of 36 Jewish leaders 36 years old or younger who are striving to make the world a better place in their own unique way. An attorney at Chuhak & Tecson, Lindsey is a founding member of her firm’s Women Helping Women initiative, which brings women in business together to network and give back to the community. She is active with Jewish United Fund’s Young Leadership Division, Between Friends and the Holocaust Museum Committee.
