Jocelyn Wilk and Alan Danzig had a baby boy, Miles Julian Danzig, on Oct. 12, 2012, in New York. Josh Block, the new head of The Israel Project (TIP), was profiled in an April article in The Forward. He was chosen to head the nongovernmental public relations agency last summer following founder Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi’s departure. Josh had served as spokesman and strategic communications director of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee for a decade, and was a spokesman for the U.S. Agency for International Development during the Clinton administration. His father, Rabbi Richard Block, P’95, serves as president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. Josh has already established Tower Magazine and a daily website (www.thetower.org) as he brings an aggressive style to TIP, which is one of the Jewish community’s fastest-growing organizations. Former Brandeis basketball player Anthony Latina was named coach of the Sacred Heart University men’s basketball team. Previously, he served as an assistant for eight years under longtime coach Dave Bike. Before that, Anthony was an assistant at Central Connecticut State for six years.
