Directions to Brandeis

From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) Eastbound

Take exit 14 for I-95/Rt 128. After the toll, keep left for 95/128 North. While on ramp, exit immediately onto exit 24 for Route 30. Bear left onto Route 30. Turn right at first traffic light. this is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on left.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) Westbound

Take exit 15 for I-95/Rt 128 and Route 30. After the toll proceed straight for Route 30. Turn right at the end of the ramp, and then right again at the first traffic light onto route 30. there is a big green sign for Brandeis at this intersection. Turn left at the next traffic light. Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.

From I-95/Route 128 Southbound

Take exit 24 for Route 30. At end of ramp, proceed through traffic light (across Route 30). this is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.

From I-95/Route 128 Northbound

Take exit 24 for Route 30. Route 30 is one of several options at this exit, so follow signs carefully. Turn left at the top of the ramp onto Route 30. Turn right at the traffic lights. this is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.

By Commuter Rail

Commuter train service is available from Boston's North Station to the Brandeis/Roberts Station which borders the campus. Check MBTA commuter rail schedules for more information.

Directions to the Lab

Important: You will need a parking pass to park on campus. In most cases (e.g., if you are coming in to participate in a study) we will send you a parking permit and parking instructions ahead of time. If you do not receive this in advance, call the lab and ask about parking.

  1. Enter the Brandeis main entrance and proceed up the right side of the horseshoe towards Upper Campus.
  2. Proceed on the Main Loop Road around campus, continuing to bear left.
  3. You will pass the Skyline Residence Hall on you left hand side and the East Quad dormitories on your right. Stay on the Main Loop Road, bearing left.
  4. After Skyline, you will pass the Usdan Building on your left and the North Academic Quad on your right.
  5. Continue on the Main Loop Road past the Heller School and the small parking area on your left and the Abraham Shapiro Building on your right. Follow the Loop until you pass three small chapels on your left.
  6. Immediately after the chapels, you will see an asphalt road that runs perpendicular to the Main Loop Road. Turn LEFT onto the asphalt road and drive into the center of campus.
  7. To get to the parking area, continue on the path until you pass a cluster of brick buildings on your right, which are the Rosenthal Dormitories, and bear right.
  8. Head straight through campus. You will pass through a stone circle area. After the circle, bear left into a small lot (I-Lot) with spots on either side. This parking lot sits adjacent to the Feldberg Communications Center Building entrance.
  9. Please park your vehicle in an open spot and place the parking permit on your dashboard or hang it on your rear view mirror.
  10. After exiting your vehicle, enter through the basement of the Feldberg Communications Center Building. Proceed down the hallway passing a small kitchenette on your right and through a set of double doors and down the ramp. Take a right at the corner. Continue towards the end of hallway. The elevator will be on your left. Take the elevator to floor “3F”.
  11. We are located on the third floor. The door is labeled, “Memory and Cognition Lab, Room 133-354”.
