Slosberg Recital Hall Request

Brandeis students, clubs, faculty and/or staff who would like to request the Slosberg Recital Hall for Brandeis-affiliated events may use the Music Major Recital Approval Form .

Slosberg Recital Hall Usage Rules

1. The Recital Hall can only be requested one month before the date. Music Department needs take priority over outside requests.
2. Stage must be returned to exact condition it was in before rehearsal (or better), all lights turned off.
3. We will not provide music stands.
4. No food or drink are permitted in the Recital Hall.
5. The Music Department can revoke this privilege at any time if these guidelines aren't followed.
6. For performances, you must hire at least one usher and one lighting technician for the length of performance plus one hour at $15/hour. You can arrange for your own ushers, or hire other Slosberg ushers at the cost of $15/hour (perf. + 30 minutes).
7. Piano tuning must be scheduled and paid for directly through Corie Melaugh at melaugh@brandeis.edu.
8. Recording: Fee of $60. Files will be sent electronically to primary contact unless otherwise requested.
