Academic Restructuring Update - School Directors
Dear Colleagues,
In late February, I provided an update on staffing progress in the academic restructuring. I announced that there would be a Director of Administration and Operations in each of the four new schools and that we would be conducting internal searches for two of these roles. I’m happy to report that we have officially hired directors in the School of Arts, Humanities and Culture (AHC) and the School of Social Science and Social Policy (SSSP). Laura Woolf will be the Director for AHC and Mai Dewees will be the Director for SSSP. Both Laura and Mai will begin their new roles on Monday, April 20th. The Deans and the Directors of each school continue to work on their own timelines for developing staffing plans to support the individual needs of their schools. They are working closely with HR partners and the Provost’s office to ensure consistency across the Academy.
