Student Conduct Board
Please know that Student Conduct Board members will have limited availability during breaks and holidays. Should you require a response during those times, please contact Student Rights and Community Standards at dsrcs@brandeis.edu.
Student Rights and Community Standards is dedicated to promoting a safe and synergistic campus environment by helping to define, communicate, and uphold University policies. We support the development of ethical and engaged community members by educating students on their Rights & Responsibilities, addressing inappropriate behavior in a fair and responsive manner, and offering various opportunities for personal growth.
The student conduct process is based on established expectations and standards of behavior at Brandeis as described in rights and responsibilities, and also incorporates a model that emphasizes evaluation by fellow students. At the heart of this process is the student conduct board which allows Brandeis students, going through the conduct process, the opportunity to have their case heard before a panel of their peers, staff and faculty.
Additionally, the student conduct board serves as a resource for students who might have questions, concerns, or reservations regarding the student conduct process. Each board member is knowledgeable about students rights, responsibilities, resolution options and potential conduct outcomes.
Additional information on the option to select a Student Conduct Board can be found in Section 18 of R&R.
