Lewis recently retired from DDB Worldwide, one of the world’s most awarded and largest advertising networks, after nearly 30 years. He was the Global Chief Information Officer, responsible for technology initiatives in nearly 75 offices around the world. He has served on the Brandeis Alumni Association's Board of Directors since 2011, initially as a member at large, then as a vice president, then as the boards representative to the Hiatt Career Center, and is currently the Alumni Association’s president. He joined the Board of Trustees by virtue of his office as Alumni Board President and will serve through Commencement 2023.
Lewis graduated from Brandeis with a BA in psychology. During his undergraduate years, Lewis was a prolific photographer, capturing and chronicling Brandeis’ life. At reunions for the classes of ’78, ’79, ’81, ’82, ’83, and ’84, he has presented Brandeis slideshows that he produced as a student and since graduation. Lewis’s passion for photography continues today as he and his wife, Denise Silber Brooks ’84, P’16, enjoy traveling the world, and have been to 50 states, 60 countries, and all 7 continents. Lewis and Denise have two children, Eddie and Hannah ’16.
