Mission
Encounters at Brandeis are immersive, residential summer experiences for passionate, motivated high school students, situated in an inclusive Jewish community at Brandeis University.
Our arts, academic, and service high school programs are created and led by career professionals from our areas of focus, and caring staff who actively collaborate with our participants to shape what and how they learn.
We aim to create an environment rich with challenge and inspiration, where self-expression is encouraged and welcomed. Our high school program participants also benefit from the invaluable opportunity to meet young people from different backgrounds, different cultures, and different practices, and to learn about--and from--one another.
We give our participants the freedom and support to explore their Judaism within a close community, and the context--and active pursuit of--their passions and self-discovery.
