Inter-Collegiate edHealth Walking Challenge

Are you ready to walk your way to better health? May the best school win!

Brandeis University, edHEALTH and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care are proud to invite you to take part in a Walking Challenge for all employees! *

Who is edHEALTH you ask?  edHEALTH is the employee health insurance collaboration Brandeis University joined to harness our power in numbers to successfully offer quality healthcare at lower costs. This innovative approach allows its members more control over plans, total transparency of costs and processes, and a more proactive role in their healthcare. This first ever edHEALTH walking challenge is just an example of how we can all come together to join forces to engage employees in their own health to control the ever-increasing cost of healthcare.

The Walking Challenge will put your skills to the test by daring you to hit (or exceed) a goal of 10,000 steps per day, seven days a week, for a month! Everyone who meets the step goal each week will be entered into a raffle to win great prizes.  Several other prizes will be awarded by school AND you will be competing against all of the other edHEALTH institutions for a grand prize to include bragging rights and a special event at the conclusion of the Challenge.  May the best school win!

The Walking Challenge will run from July 11 through August 8. Registration opens June 27 and ends July 17. Look out for more info on all of the details. We hope you’ll accept the Challenge!

*Please note: While Harvard Pilgrim is hosting the Walking Challenge for all employees, this does not affect your medical health plan coverage and you are eligible regardless of your health insurance carrier.

Brandeis University's Momentum+ Healthy You Wellness

Between January 1 and December 15, 2018 you could earn $100 or more, just by being healthy! How is this possible? Sign up for the Momentum+ Wellness Platform and participate in different activities to earn credit. Activities include completing your Well-Being Assessment (WBA) on the Momentum+ platform, engaging in Virtual Coaching, participating in a Brandeis Exercise Challenge, and so much more!
