About the Office of Communications
The Office of Communications is responsible for official communications between the university and the world at large.
Its mission is to represent and promote the university and its faculty, students, programs and policies to a variety of internal and external constituents, including employees, alumni, the media, government officials, students and their parents, and neighbors of the university.
The Office of Communications comprises Media Relations, Creative Services and University Photography. The office:
• Directs university marketing and branding efforts;
• Manages the content and design of much of the Brandeis Web site;
• Publishes the Brandeis University Magazine (alumni magazine) and
• Sponsors the Meet the Author series.
