Have you been swept up by the exhilarating pace of discovery in the Life Sciences? While you train to become a biology teacher through the Brandeis MAT program, you will continue to be confronted with complex problems demanding new approaches that cut across traditional disciplines. The interactive and stimulating environment of Brandeis University fosters thinking "outside the box", where biophysical and genetic approaches merge with the tools of biochemistry and molecular biology to investigate the fundamental processes of life. The graduate programs are committed to interdisciplinary training, spanning five academic departments as well as four research centers. Brandeis offers the following programs in the biological sciences: General Biology, Biochemistry, Biological Physics, Neuroscience, Molecular and Cell Biology, Genetic Counseling.
